The King Size band has been established in 2000, in Belgrade, Serbia. The frontman of the band is guitarist and composer Danilo Petrovic, from Zemun (town near Belgrade). In the beginning, band was playing as a cover hard, heavy and rock band. They had been performed in lot of cities in Serbia, but mostly in Belgrade. Lasts few years, they spent practicing, gathering influences, critics and opinion from funs, and using all that on very specific creative way for their work. In 2005. year, they published their first singl and video clip, for song “Oxygen”. The song became very popular, and it was in first top ten on local radio stations. Till the end of 2005. year they had recorded whole demo album, and soon after that, they have started recording CD in local music studio “Chameleon”. Producers Marko Grujic and Milan Barkovic were very helpful for this project, and finaly in 2007. year album “Whisper” was published. It was all produced by King Size band, not sponsored, and all becouse very bad conditions which offer local publishers. On their own way , they managed to sell over 1000 cd-s. Some of the people who believed in band and their quality music and skills, and who gave some contribution, are : Milan Dobrojevic - 011art.com, Marko Grujic - Chameleon studio, Bg 202, Dragan Nikolic, Boban Desnica, Metropolis TV, Exit org… Last few years, King Size band have been playing on few festivals and club-performances. Some of them are : Urban demo fest (Bg), Rebel demo (Bg), Hit 202 (all over the country), Bela Crkva (the biggest bike show in country), Exit fest (NS), TV Metropolis live, and many others.
